Dr. SM Shahriar has been appointed as the new civil surgeon of Sylhet. He was in charge of Balaganj Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer. Earlier, on October 1, 2019, Dr. Premananda Mandal as a civil surgeon in Sylhet. took charge. This information was given in a circular signed by the Deputy Secretary of the Health Services Department Zakia Sultana on Tuesday.
In the same circular, the government has appointed new civil surgeons in 22 more districts of the country including Sunamganj and Habiganj. Dr. Sunamganj Civil Surgeon appointed. Ahmed Hossain Department of Health, Dhaka Mohakhali Assistant Director (OSD) and Habiganj Civil Surgeon.
