The Dhaka Metropolitan Police yesterday arrested 46 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs during their anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital over the past 24 hours till 6:00 am (Monday).
Detectives and the law enforcers jointly made the arrest and seized illegal drugs from their possession.
The DMP seized 2,165 Yaba tablets, 415 grams of heroin and 131.12 kilograms of hemp from their possessions.

(Media and Public Relations) Hafiz Al Asad confirmed the news on Monday.
Based on information, members of Detectives and Dhaka Metropolitan Police conducted a 24-hour raid and detained the drug trades from various places, Asad said.
A total of 35 cases have been filed against the detained persons under the Narcotics Control Act, the DMP official further said.
