DIU signs bilateral deal with Thai AUAP Forum

Daffodil International University (DIU) signed more than 20 memorandum of understandings (MOU) with top ranked universities from Taiwan, Philippines, Iran, China Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Mongolia and India at the 14th forum of Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) held from 26 to 28 this month in Thailand.
Mohamed Emran Hossain, Director, Administration and Mohmmad Shamsul Hoque, assistant professor of Department of English, DIU attended the forum and signed MOU on behalf of the university. Under these agreements, DIU agreed to work for student exchange, faculty exchange, research and publications, Centers of Excellence etc through which DIU students will get the facility of studying these partner universities and enrich their global capabilities.
Some newly partner university of DIU are I-Shou University Taiwan, Zhengzhou Xinlian University China, The University Of Tehran Iran, Orkhon University Mongolia, Isabela State University Philippines, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Jagran Lakecity University India and many more.
The forum is hosted by the Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand with the theme “AUAP 20 Years: Higher Education Cooperation in ASEAN after the Integration”. Through these agreements, DIU students will get the opportunity to enjoy lots of international collaboration such as scholarships, student exchange, semester exchange, cross-border collaborative arrangements, programs for international students, establishing duel degrees, etc.
Board members and representatives from more than 50 top universities of Asia and the pacific joined this great gathering at Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand and created a delightful environment for university leaders of various institutions and organizations to interact and exchange collaborations.
Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) is an association of university chief executives from higher education institutions in Asia Pacific and around the world to establish cooperative platform for interaction and collaboration among member universities.
