Dilkusha Sporting Club emerged champions in the Green Delta Insurance Second Division Hockey League blanking Yang Star Club by 3-0 goals in the final held on Thursday at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
Green Delta Insurance executive vice president and head of brand communication M Moniruzzaman was the chief guest in the final and later distributed the prizes among the winners’.
In the day’s final fixture, Dilkusha made sure as they secured 24 points from eight matches to clinch the league title. They are now assured and will be promoted to the first division hockey league in the coming season.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation vice president Khawja Rahmatullah, tournament committee’s secretary M Mahbubul Ahasan Rana and other federation officials were present on the occasion.
