Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury said digital revolution advanced beside the upliftment of economic progress of the country .
He disclosed it while addressing a workshop on ‘ Information Tech & Journalist’ at Chittagong Press Club Auditorium on Friday last as Chief Guest.
In the inaugural session of the workshop , Iqbal Sobhan said all govt , non-govt and private organizations now under the network of information technology and the Prime Minister earnestly desires to include the new generations in digital education . He said none including journalists are not out the purview of the digital technology .
The inaugural session was presided by the President of Chittgong Union of Journalists Nazimuddin Shamal attended by the President of BFUJ Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul , Secretary General Omar Faruk and Vice President Shahidul Alam as special guests. Secretary of CUJ Hasan Ferdous delivered address of welcome in the workshop.
About 50 journalists of different print and electronic media participating the workshop. Associate Professor of Journalism department of Chittagong University Prof K.Ali al Razi imparted training in the workshop, sources said.
