BAF Shahhen College Dhaka will face BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola in the final of the Walton 1st Inter-Shaheen College Hockey Tournament at the BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Ground today. The final begins at 9.00 am.
BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola moved to the final after defeating BAF Shaheen College Shamshernagar of Sylhet by 6-1 goals on Wednesday at the same venue.
Earlier, BAF Shaheen College Dhaka confirmed their final berth.
After the final match, President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Abu Esrar will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will be present with him as the special guest.
A total of seven BAF Shaheen Colleges are taking part in the hockey competition. They are: Host BAF Shaheen College Dhaka, BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola, BAF Shaheen College of Jessore, BAF Shaheen College of Pahar Kanchanpur of Tangail, BAF Shaheen College of Shamshernagar of Sylhet, BAF English Medium School and BAF Shaheen College of Chittagong.
The champions of the tournament will be awarded Tk 25 thousand while the runners-up will be given Tk 15 thousand. The best player of the tournament and the highest scorer of the competition will get Tk 5 thousand each.
