Staff Reporter: Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Thursday said that it would be tested at least 1000 samples of suspected coronavirus patients across the country by tomorrow to assess the real situation amid fear of spread of the virus.
“Prime Minister direct us to receive samples of two suspected coronavitus infected patients from each upazila will be collected so that we can have at least 1,000 samples by today and test those by tomorrow,” said MD Habibur Rahman, director of Management Information System at Directorate General of Health Services.
At a press briefing at his office this afternoon, he said “We are trying to increase the number of tests.”
