The government has banned public gatherings, including teaching in educational institutions, to control the omicron variant of the coronavirus. However, ignoring these restrictions, a week-long Urs has been organized in Ulail Union of ShibalayaUpazila of Manikganj. This has caused mixed reactions in the area.
Going to the spot on Wednesday morning,it was seen that the 45th annual Urs was being organized at Darodia Bishwa Pagal Manzil in Darikayara village of Ulail union of the upazila. The main gate of Oras, pandals, seating for devotees, hotels and shops have been arranged. Allocation of space for hotels and shops has already been completed.
According to the locals and locals, Urs held here every year. Thousands of people from different parts of the country come here. The Urs was started on Thursday.
There are various events throughout the seven days. In addition to the wazmahfil, meeting songs and judgment songs have been arranged.
