Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Atiqul Islam expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of noted journalist and litterateur Rahat Khan.
In a condolence message on Saturday, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. Khan’s contribution is significant in both the arena of literature and journalism. The nation lost a dedicated and talented journalist at his death, he added.
