Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Awami League, All European unit former General Secretary and advisor of the present committee MA Gani.
In a condolence message on Wednesday, the minister said, “We’ve lost a dedicated political leader at his (Gani) demise.”
Hasan, also Awami League Joint General Secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
MA Gani died at a hospital in London on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment.
