Minister of Science and Technology Yafesh Osman expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Prof Khaleda Ekram, the first female Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
In a condolence message, he said, “Country has lost a genius and skilled architect and eminent educationist at the death of Khaleda . Her death is really an irreparable loss to the country.”
The minister conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
