Today is the second death anniversary of Alhaj Shafiuddin Ahmed, a local organizer of liberation war and social worker. To mark this occasion, recitation of the holy Quran and milad mahfil was held last Friday at his village Khaishakhali under Shibpur upazilla of Narsingdi district. Relatives, friends and well-wishers of the deceased are requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
