Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) on Thursday observed the 49th death anniversary of Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque with due solemnity.
On this day in 1969, Sergeant Zahurul Haque was shot by the Pakistani Army when he was detained in the Dhaka Cantonment in connection with the Agartala conspiracy case, an ISPR release said.
On the occasion, a milad mahfil was arranged at the central mosque of Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque after Zohr prayers seeking the divine blessing for the departed soul and also for the continued peace and prosperity of the country.
