Today is the thirteenth death anniversary of Barrister Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, a prominent lawyer and former Advisor to the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh. On this occasion, Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Smriti Parishad has organized different programmes. These include the placing of wreaths at his grave at Banani and offering fateha.
A Milad Mahfil will be held at an orphanage. It may be noted that during his eventful life, Barrister Ahmed made immense contribution in the legal arena of Bangladesh.
All the relatives, friends and admirers of the deceased are requested to pray for the salvation of the depicted soul.
