Md. Monzur Mofiz has joined Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer on December 27, 2016, said a press release.
Prior to joining Dutch-Bangla Bank, Md. Monzur Mofiz was the Senior Executive Vice President of the City Bank Limited.
Md. Monzur Mofiz has a long track of 23 years job experiences including 5 years in Ministry of Education, Govt. of Bangladesh, 14 years in AB Bank and 3 years in the City Bank Limited. Md. Monzur Mofiz obtained his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), MBA in Finance from IBA, University of Dhaka. In the year 1993, he started his career with Sonali Bank Ltd. as Assistant Engineer.
He served thereafter in AB Bank in different capacity and finally was EVP and Head of Corporate Finance Division. He also served with the City Bank Limited as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Commercial Banking from September 2013.
