Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday forecast rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at one or two places over Rangpur, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in
24-hour till 9am today,” said a met office bulletin issued on Saturday morning.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the bulletin added.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am yesterday was recorded 09 mm at Hatiya in Chattogram division.
Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 34.2 degrees Celsius at Jashore in Khulna division and minimum temperature on Saturday was 20.3 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur division.
