The popular television show ‘Spelling Bee’ on Monday launched its 5th season at The Daily Star Center in capital.
The competition is designed for secondary school students, said a press release on Monday.
Students from Class 6-10 from both Bangla and English medium can participate.
This year, the competition is titled as “Dan Cake Spelling Bee, enlightened by The Daily Star, brought to you by Champs21.com” sponsored by the leading snack brand of the country ‘Dan Cake’, the release said.
The competition has been organized by Champs21.com, with the support of The Daily Star and Telecast partner, Channel i. The competition will take place all over the country come by turns in different phases.
The Daily Star Editor and Publisher Mahfuz Anam, Chairman of Pandughar Group Nazim Uddin Ahmed, COO of Dan foods Ltd Firoz Ahmed, Director and Head of News of Channel i Shykh Seraj and CEO of Champs21.com Russell T Ahmed and among others were present at the press meet along with over 200 teachers from 150 schools.
