Dakshin Surma Press Club has been formed on Sunday at a meeting held at Press Club. The Daily Sylheter Dak Correspondent, Jahangir Alam Musik has been made president while Staff reporter of The Jugantor, Azmol Khan made General Secretary of the newly formed 11-member committee of the Dakshin Surma Press Club.
Other members of the committee are: Vice President: Chonchal Mahmud Fulor, Sylhet Correspondent, The Daily Vhorer Awaj; Joint Secretary: Shah Suhel, Chief Reporter, The Daily Sylhet Surma; Treasurer: Humaun Kabir Liton, Staff Photographer, The daily Jalalabad, Literature, Sports and Cultural Secretary: Shofik Ahmed Shofiee, Sylhet Correspondent, The Daily New Nation, Office, Library and Publicity Secretary: Ashraful Islam Imran, Dakshin Surma Correspondent, The Daily Jalalabad, Executive members are: Foysal Amin, Staff Reporter, The daily Inqilab, Moin Uddin, Staff Reporter, The daily Sokaler Khobor, Sintu Ronjon Chondo, Staff Reporter, The daily Kazirbazar.
