Minhaz Foysol a well-known name in the cultural field of Sylhet region. Now he is a famous storyteller and playwright in the greater Sylhet region. His youth is a combination of dreams, enthusiasm and honesty. Hundreds of dreams play in his eyes. He always lives in harmony with new words, new thoughts. He is roaming freely in the arena of story, poems, rhymes and everywhere. He writes for both children and elders. His full name is Md Minhazur Rahman Foysol, known to all as Minhaz Foysol who was hailed from Sunamganj. After completing his graduation and post graduation, Monhaz is currently working in a private company. He authored 12 books to till date. His story books for children are – Moshader Meeting, Bullet Buka Golap Phaki and Magic Sir.The book of his unique story Ei Shohorer Shuke, Jhotihin Bhalobasha, Manush Hashte Jane. His written rhymes books are: Chadar Buri, Roder Danai Phoring Nache, Pakhira Sob Pakha Chai, Apni Tumi Tui, Pukur Jole Chander Khela and poetry book is Shobdo Diye Anka Abeg. Minhaz Foysol is also a well-known in the cultural field of Sylhet. He has been working on stage since his school life. He has gained immense popularity from the audience by acting in Green Bangla, one of the leading theatre groups in Sylhet region. He has been acted in many plays like Tamasha, Gurunti, Ekjon Abid-er Golpo, Je Bibade Shoytan Hashe, Minister Palace, Friends Mahal, Disturb, Patineta, Motku Commissioner, WiFi Sir, Calcutta Karim, Prem Bonam Biye, Target, Talabi Latif, Nat Boltu, etc. Meanwhile, Minhaz Foysol is also editor of a little magazine, The Ant (Pipra), which inspires the young writers. This literary magazine is published from Sylhet and already got appreciation in the literary circle. He achieved various awards in recognition of his works including Central Muslim Sahitya Sangsad Young Writer’s Literary Medal. While asking about how long does Minhaz Foysol want to go? He replied with smiling face, “I want to go where
I will meet my dreams.”
