Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) and Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder and Chairman, Canadian University of Bangladesh and Dr Jamaluddin Ahmed, General Secretary, BEA signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed MP, Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President, FBCCI, Chowdhury Raheeb Safwan Sarafat, Member, Board of Trustees, CUB and Prof Dr William H Derrenger, Vice-Chancellor, CUB were also present on the occasion.
The aim of the MoU is to Collaboration for business research, share resources, expertise and information between the institutions. In addition, arrangement of Internship, job placement, on-campus job opportunity for students of Canadian University of Bangladesh and also organizing national and international seminar, symposium, co-operation in the field of on important issues concerning economic and social development will be arranged that are mutually beneficial to both organizations.
