Around 200 teachers and officials of Chittagong University (CU) formed a human chain on the campus on Thursday morning, demanding immediate punishment for the perpetrators who allegedly threatened Vice Chancellor Prof Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury with death on August 16.
The VC revealed the information on August 28 after the university reopened following Eid vacation.
Condemning the threat, another human chain was formed around noon by a faction of Bangladesh Chhatra League unit of CU.
