Cox’s Bazar Bar President Adv Shahab Uddin passes away

Shahab Uddin Ahmed, President of Cox’s Bazar District Bar Association and Vice President of Cox’s Bazar Zila Awami League (AL) and former Chairman of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila Parishad passed away at Heart Institute of the capital while undergoing treatment on Tuesday morning.
 He was 70.
Family sources said, he was heart attacked at about 8:00am on January 31 at his own house at Mohajerpara area of Cox’s Bazar municipally. His family members sent him to Chittagong Metropolitan Hospital and later he was referred to Dhaka Heart Institute, where his condition deteriorated. He is survived by two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
His Namaj-e-Janaza was held at about 10:30am at Central Eidgaon ground in Cox’s Bazar municipally. More then 20 thousand people attended his Namaj-e-janaza and he was burried at a graveyard at Goldigheer par in Cox’s Bazar municipally.
