Outgoing Chief Justice Md Muzammel Hossain paid a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid on Thursday and stressed increasing the number of courts to deal with the county’s judicial backlog.
During the meeting at Bangabhaban, the Chief Justice expressed gratitude to the President for his cooperation in discharging his duties, President’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB.
Md Muzammel Hossain apprised the President that court functioned normally
during his three years and eight months of tenure.
Abdul Hamid thanked the Chief Justice for discharging his duties successfully. Secretaries concerned to the President Office were present.
