An international conference titled “Early Medieval in Bengal: Transdisciplinary Perspectives in Archaeology with Special Reference to Bangladesh” was held recently at the seminar room of Jahir Raihan Auditorium on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.
JU Archaeology Department organised the conference while Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Abul Hossain inaugurated it as the chief guest, said a JU press release.
JU Treasurer Professor Md Sheikh Manjurul Haque, Arts and Humanities Faculty Dean Professor Mojammel Haque and noted archaeologist Professor Abdul Momin addressed the inaugural function as special guests.
A series of articles were presented at the conference, the release added.
