Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry on Sunday formed an eight-member committee for framing ground handling regulations for different airports of the country including the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Additional Secretary of the ministry AHM Ziaul Haque was made convener of the committee. The convener was asked to include representatives from Law, Justice And Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, Customs, NBR, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, Biman Bangladesh airlines, private airlines and private cargo airlines within 14-working day.
The regulation will be framed under the recent Civil Aviation Authority Law.
The committee was formed at a meeting chaired by Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon at the conference room of the ministry at secretariat, an official handout said.
