The Citycell Open 3 on 3 Basketball Championship (Boys and Girls), organized by Bangladesh Basketball Federation and sponsored by Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Limited, will begin on Friday (August 29) at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city.
President of Bangladesh Basketball Federation and former MP Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin will inaugurate the meet to be participated by 30 teams — 21 boys section and 9 in girls section.
Meanwhile, the Citycell Inter-School Basketball Tournament for boys and girls will begin in the capital on September 7.
Twenty-two school teams from across the country are expected to take part in the meet.
