A six-member delegation of the Yunnan University of Kunming, China called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique.
The delegation led by Prof. Lin Yang met the DU VC on Tuesday at his office and discussed about matters of mutual interests. During the meeting, they specially discussed about possibilities of taking joint academic and research programmes and agreed to sign a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to this end.
The Chinese delegation also invited the DU VC to visit the Yunnan University of Kunming. The DU VC thanked the delegation for inviting him to China.
Associate Prof. Md. Afzal Hossain of the Institute of Modern Languages of DU was present on this occasion.
