Landslide caused by heavy rains at Bandarban has left a child dead and injured three members of a family.
Large chunks of earth rolled down on Sadar Upazila’s New Gulshan area around 11am Thursday, said Sadar Upazila Police Station OC Rafique Ulllah.
The child, Sajjad Hossain, was little over 2 years old.
Many areas including hilly Bandarban in Chittagong Division has been witnessing heavy rain.
Seven including four children were killed on Aug 1 after being buried under a landslide at Bandarban’s Lama.
