Charge sheet of Christian freedom fighter Hossen Ali murder case in Kurigram town was submitted to Kurigram Chief Judicial Magistrate Court by police on Wednesday noon.
Police formed the charge sheet against ten persons while three of them died in different terrorist incidents of the country before submitting the charge sheet, said MA Faruck, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Kurigram Sadar police station and investigation of the case.Of the alive accused, police arrested four Mahabub Hasan Milon, 28, son of Abdul Karim of Palashbari village and Golam Rabbani, 22, son of Saiful Islam of Ghumaru Vimsitala village of Kurigram district and Abu Nasir, 22, son of Azizul Islam and Hasan Firoz, 22, son of Reazul Islam of Sharpukur village of Lalmonirhat district, who are in Kurigram prison and JMB activists, said SI Faruck. The died accused were Khairul Islam, 22, son of Abul Hossen of Mondalpara village of Kustia district, Shafiul Alam, 19, son of Abdul Hye of South Debipur village of Dinajpur district and Nazrul Islam, 26, son of Abdullah Mia of Sonaharganj village of Panchagar district, said SI Faruck. Here it is mentioned that freedom fighter Hossain Ali, 65, son of late Sepat Ullah of Krisnapur (Garerpar) village under Kurigram municipality of the district, was a Christian convert and retired Family Planning Inspector, who was brutally murder by three unidentified miscreants on the road near his residence in Kurigram town at 7:00 am on March 22 this year. Some of their associates were involved with the murder. In this connection, a murder case was filed with Kurigram Sadar police station on the day.
