The Chancellor Cup Football Tournament of Jahangirnagar University (JU) marking the Independence Day was began on Monday at central playground of the campus here.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest while JU Pro-VC Professor Dr. Abul Hossain and Treasurer Professor Dr. Abul Khair was present as the special guest.
JU Shaheed Rafiq-Zabber Hall won the inaugural match defeated Shaheed Salam Barkat Hall by tie breaker.
