CAReMCH signs deal with Indian BLK Hospital

CARe Medical College Hospital (CAReMCH) signed a strategic agreement with Indian BLK Super Speciality Hospital, aiming to be a healthcare destination through educational, scientific and medical cooperation.
According to the agreement, New Delhi-based BLK Super Speciality Hospital will provide assistance to CAReMCH in capacity building for its health professionals, knowledge and skill transfer through its highly specialized pool of eminent doctors and world class infrastructure, said a press release on Tuesday.
In keeping pace with the rapid changes in health care, assistance would also be provided to CAReMCH for enhancing their capacities in latest Radiotherapy Treatment, Bone Marrow Transplant, Cardiac Sciences, Renal Transplants, Laparoscopic Surgeries, Medical Oncology, Orthopedics, Neurology among others for a period of next two years.
Naresh Kapoor, Executive Director, BLK Super Specialty Hospital said, “Both the hospitals shall be engaged in working together to strengthen each
other’s capabilities.” Periodic OPDs, surgical camps, and CME programmes will
be conducted in CAReMCH by visiting doctors and staff from BLK Super
Speciality Hospital. In addition to this, both the hospitals would work
together to establish Centers of Excellence and set-up telemedicine
facilities for super speciality consultation of the patients.
It will also improve ways of organizing observer ship courses for
doctors, technicians and paramedical staff of CAReMCH at BLK Super Speciality
Hospital.
Dr Praveen Fatima, Chairman, Governing Body, CAReMCH, said, “The
partnership will pave the way for further cooperation and mutual
understanding between the two countries for improving healthcare facilities
for people of Bangladesh.”
