A day-long ‘Career Adda’ was held at Islamic University (IU), Kushtia on Saturday with a view to motivating the graduates and undergraduate students about the preparation of public services of the country.
Network for International Law Students Bangladesh (NILS) organised the even at Birshreshtha Hamidur Rahman Central Auditorium of the university.
IU vice chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-ur-Rashid Askari was present in the programme as chief guest while its pro vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman and Treasurer Prof Dr M Selim Toham attended as special guests.
Sushanta Paul, Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Bangladesh addressed the programme as key motivational speakers with Masudur Rahman, president of the IU unit NILS in the chair.
Muttakin Hossain, a student of Al-Fiqh & Legal Studies Department and Farah Sharmin Bindu of Law Department conducted the function jointly attended by over 1500 students of various departments of the university.
