Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, said that the mass media had to raise its voice even louder to battle militancy, drugs, cyber crime and yellow journalism.
He said this on Thursday while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of a new online web portal “Shara Bangla.Net”.
Inu said that overall “we are faced with four principal challenges: militancy, drugs, cyber crimes and yellow journalism.”
He said “Freedom of media has its risks but the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken it to ensure its development.”
