International Public Service Day- 2017 was observed in Kishoreganj on Friday in a befitting manner with a call to provide department services to the people through innovation ideas .
Kishoreganj District Administration organised a discussion meeting on the future in now: Accelerating Public Service Innovation for Agenda- 2030 at Local Art Council hall on Friday morning wih Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas in the chair.
It was addressed among others by District Awami League Genral Secretary Advocate M.A. Afzol, Deputy Secretary of Local Government Zahirul Islam, ADC (General & D.S) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil, Principal Professor (Retd.) Rafiqul Islam Khan, Freedom Fighter Unit Commonder Md. Asadullah, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Women Leaders Bilkis Begum, Assistant Professor Samilul Haque Mollah, Deputy Director of Social Service Md. Rabiul Islam, DPO Sazzat Hossain and Sadar UNO Abdullah-al-Masud.
D.C Md. Azimuddin Biswas said that the country had already achived millennuium development goal and was going to achive sustainable development goal by 2030 along with turing Bangladesh into a middle income country by 2021 and developmently 2041.
A colourfull rally brought out in the town led by D.C Md. Azimuddin Biswas marking the International Public Service Day.
