Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddiqe on Monday emphasized the need for developing humanitarian values of students to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the society.
He told the inaugural ceremony of permanent office of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-DU) as chief guest at CARASS Building of the university.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. Nasreen Ahmad and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, among others, were present at the function.
Prof. Arefin said various public and private universities are producing graduates including doctor, engineer, accountant, teacher and broadcaster.
