Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said the public and private sectors should create more job opportunities for the physically challenged people in the country.
“The public and private sector in the country should come forward to create job opportunity for the physically challenged,” he said while addressing a cheque distribution function at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference room in Faridpur on Friday as the chief guest.
District Administration and Department of Social Welfare, Faridpur jointly organized the programme.
Deputy Commissioner Ommey Salma Tanzia presided over the function. Deputy Director of Local Government (DDLG) Eradul Haque, Superintendent of Police (SP) Jakir Hossain, Deputy Director of the district Social Welfare Department ASM Ali Ahmed, among others, spoke at the function.
