BUET Teachers Association and BUET Alumni Association organized a warm reception ceremony on Thursday for appointing Prof Zamilur Reza Chowdhury, Prof Anisuzzaman and Prof Rafiqul Islam as ‘National Professor’ by the Government in 2018 for their outstanding contribution in the education sector. The reception took place at BUET Central Auditorium. In this program, Prof Dr Shamsuzzaman Khan, Bangabandhu Chair, Islamic University presented the keynote speech on education, culture and recent thoughts.
Prof Syed Azizul Haque, Department of Bangla, Dhaka University, Poet Muhammad Nurul Huda and Prof Dr MH Khan, Ex Vice-Chancellor, BUET gave speech on the distinguished National Professors.
Hopefully, reputed persons of the society including Teachers of BUET, Members of BUET Alumni (Engineers, Architects and Planners) were present in the program.
