The faculty members of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRSAU) in Gazipur formed a human chain on Sunday in front of the university administrative building demanding separate pay scale and modification of 8th national pay scale.
All teachers took part in the human chain program arranged by the university teachers under the banner of Bangladesh University Teachers Association Federation. The teachers demand a separate prestigious pay scale for the public university teachers as like as SAARC countries.
They also expressed their commitment and ties with the demand of Bangladesh University Teachers Association Federation.
