Brothers Union played to a 1-1 draw with Soccer Club, Feni in their 1st match of the 12-team JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at MA Aziz Stadium here on Tuesday.
Soccer Club midfielder Shushanto Tripura put his team ahead in the very 4th minute firing the net over opponent’s advancing custodian Uttam Barua by a aesthetic left footer from around 30 yards (1-0).
Brothers Union’s Haitian midfielder Augustin Walson scored the equaliser in the 27th minute of the match by a ground shot from the left wing of the six-yard box (1-1).
Soccer Club’s Ghanaian forward Ntim Twum Frank spoiled a good chance in the 35th minute as he fell down in the box while trying to shot after a collision with opponent goalie Uttam Barua.
Frank missed another chance in the 80th minute from the top of the six-yard box as his right footer went outside.
