Norend Shah, brother of Nepalese female student Binisha Shah (20) of Pioneer Dental Medical College Hospital in Dhaka, received the body of his sister.
Binisha’s brother received the body from the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue on Sunday noon.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhatara Police Station Kamruzzaman confirmed this to risingbd.com this afternoon.
“The body of Binisha has been handed over to her brother in presence of college authority and officials of Nepal embassy,” the OC said.
Binisha was found dead in her hostel in the Bhatara area of Dhaka on December 19 after reportedly committing suicide. She was a second year student of the college and got admitted to the medical college two years ago.
