Brendon McCullum of New Zealand arrived in the city on Wednesday to take part for Rangpur Riders in the ongoing AKS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Twenty20 Cricket.
Rangpur Riders Team Management confirmed that McCullum reached the city.
If everything goes well McCullum will play on November 18 against Comilla Victorians.
Brendon McCullum scored 8245 runs playing 297 T20 matches. His highest score is 158 (not out) with an average of 31.46. He hit seven centuries and made 43 half-centuries.
Rangpur Rider won only one match playing three T20 matches. Batting genius Chris Gayle will join the Ranpur Riders within a couple of days.
Mashrafe-led Rangpur Riders will try to play in ‘Super Four’ by using Brendon McCullum and Chris Gayle.
