Bhurungamari thana police of Kurigram district recovered an unidentified body from a under construction guarder of the Sonahat bridge over the Dudkumar River in Kurigram at noon on Saturday (February 12).
Local sources said the villagers saw the half decomposed body was floating on the water of the Dudkumar River and informed the matter to police. Bhurungamari thana police however rushed to the spot and brought the body to Bhurungamari thana. The identity of the body could not be known till now. Some people suspected that the body may be floated from India, the border adjoining country.
