Dead body of a person was recovered on Sunday afternoon from Pandab River under Bakerganj police station of Barisal one day after missing.
The victim was identified as Dhanu Patikar, 44, of Sukhi-Nilganj under Bakerganj upazila of Barisal.
Masum Talukdar, officer in charge (investigation ) of Bakerganj police station, said local people seeing the floating dead body recovered that and informed police.
