Police recovered the floating body of an unidentified man from the Buriganga River at Hasnabad in Keraniganj on Monday morning.
Shah Jaman, officer in-charge of Dakkhin Keraniganj Police Station, said locals spotted the body and informed police.
Later, police recovered the body sent to Mitford hospital for an autopsy.
An unnatural death case was filed.
