Police recovered body of an unidentified person from a bamboo grove in Savar on Saturday.
Several injury marks were found on the body, said Samiul Haque, a sub-inspector of Ashulia Police Station.
The man, aged around 25, might have been strangled to death, the police official said, adding that the killers left the corpse at the grove in Savar’s Yarpur area.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body around 9:30am, our Savar correspondent reports.
The body was sent to Shahid Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The process of filing a murder case is underway.
