Bodies of three students of Dhanmondi Ideal College, who went missing in the Dhaleshwari River in Savar, were found in the river on Sunday.
Divers of Savar Fire Service and Civil Defense recovered the bodies from the river between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
The bodies of Akash, Razon and Mehedi were recovered after a day of their missing on Saturday, reports our Savar Correspondent quoting Liton Ahmed, Senior Station Officer of Savar Fire Service and Civil Defense.
The three were grade-XI students of the college. They swept away by strong current when they went swimming in the river. Twelve students of the college went to their classmate’s house in Savar’s Bank town area around 11:30am on Saturday. From their friend’s house they went for swimming in the river but strong current swept three of them away, said one of the students.
Two more students of the group-Jahid and Manik-have been admitted to Enam Medical College Hospital.
