BNP chairman candidate in Datmara union of Fatikchari upazila boycotted the UP polls yesterday for alleged vote rigging by the ruling party nominee cadres .
BNP chairman candidate Md. Elias Miah declared his withdrawal from polls to the media after massive vote rigging in all centres at about 11 am.
Besides, he alleged that ruling party cadres forced the BNP agents to leave the vote centre. Chief election agent of Idrish Miah , Shafiul Alam s aid the member candidates in 1,2, & 9 wards also boycotted the polls . Meanwhile, a independent candidate in Jafat Nagar Union Md. Soleman also declared to boycott the election for alleged massive vote rigging , a upazila reliable sources said.
