A voluntary blood donation program was organized in Tarash, Sirajganj on Friday in the meeting room of Tarash Islamilaya Pilot Model High School. A rally was also held under the slogan ‘We can do it, save the life of a helpless patient with blood’.
Cake cutting, prize distribution and discussion meetings were organized at the event.
Abdus Salam, Headmaster of Tarash Islamilaya Pilot Model High School presided over the event while Major Dr. Ainul Haque Rana was chief guest.
Also present were members of the organization Al-Amin Abir, Abdul Quader, Lecturer (English) of Tarash Degree College, Ruhul Amin, Lecturer (ICT), Government Bangamata Sheikh Fazzilatunnesa Mujib Ideal College and others.
Miraj Hasan Munna, Delbar Ahmed, Masum Ahmed Paran and Nazmul Haque Mehedi were awarded for their special contribution to the organization after a discussion meeting at a gathering of more than 100 blood donors.
