Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB), Narsingdi Region has distributed more than Taka 53.14 crore as agricultural loan among 7,393 farmers through its 21 branches in Narsingdi district during the just concluded 2015-16 financial year.
Official sources said, Taka 53 crore was earmarked for the distribution as agricultural loan for the last fiscal year, but the bank has disbursed Tk 53,14, 15,000 through its 21 branches across the district.
The percentage of loan disbursement by the bank stands more than 100 percent during the 2015-16 fiscal year, the bank sources said.
Meanwhile, the BKB Narsingdi region at the same time realized Tk 60 crore as outstanding loan, including 20.31 crore classified loan from the 7,053 borrowers of the district.
