Biman offers 20pc off on six int’l routes

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has offered 20 percent discount on six international routes to boost tourism.
The promotional offer will be available during the three-day international tourism fair dubbed “Dhaka Travel Mart (DTM) 2017” that begins March 30 here.
Biman General Manager (PR) and Spokesperson Shakil Meraj said the national carrier is delighted to offer 20 percent discount in economy class on six international routes as part its effort to provide convenient services to the travelers especially holiday makers.
“We’ve announced this offer for the new travelers to promote in-and-out-bound tourism as well as increase customer base,” he added.
Meraj said the six routes are -Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka, Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka, Dhaka-Yangon-Dhaka, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka, Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka and Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka.
After the 20 percent off, the return fare on Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka route will stand at BDT 21,854 while Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka at BDT 35,550, Dhaka-Yangon-Dhaka at 22,469, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka at BDT 25,542, Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka at BDT 11,694 and Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka at BDT 15,235.
Mentioning that the above fares are in net saleable from the DTM-2017 fair stall, the Biman spokesperson said: “The outbound journey must commence within 180 days from the date of buying the ticket.”
Besides, Biman is offering 7 percent discount on market fares on other routes during the DTM-2017, he added.
Moreover, there will be chance to win Biman ticket everyday through raffle draw against gate entry ticket.
Officials said the national flag carrier has put concentration on bringing more variations to its services.
